Wireless World founders Timothy Oechsle and Dan Gardner have been involved in the wireless communications business since its inception in 1984, initially launching individual ventures before merging them together as Wireless World in 1997.
Wireless World has catered to rural communities throughout Upstate and Western New York that were either under-serviced or not serviced at all by the wireless industry. Dealing exclusively with Verizon Wireless, the nation’s number one cellular carrier, Wireless World’s primary point of difference then and now is the customer-focused, hometown assistance not found in most large metropolitan areas or “big box” stores. With a corporate office based in Marion, NY, Wireless World, Inc. currently employs a seasoned staff of more than 40 among its 15 locations.
